Our Physician

Dr. Prakash J. Thiruppathi graduated with honors from the University of Michigan with a BS in Physiology and went on to receive his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Toledo. For his post-graduate work, Dr. Thiruppathi completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, followed by a fellowship with the Department of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at RUSH Presbyterian – St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Thiruppathi is trained in the management of Reproductive Hormones in women and men. He is an Anti-Aging Physician certified in 2005 by the American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine. He has treated women and men in the art of hormone replacement therapy for the past 20 years.

Hormone Replacement therapy in women is not easily managed. Proper management in women necessitates understanding of female physiology (how the hormones work together) and anatomy (uterus and ovaries which make hormones). Without proper understand, it is difficult to manage the effects on breasts and uterine bleeding.

For the duration of his academic career into his post-graduate work, Dr. Thiruppathi participated in a number of research studies on various topics relating to reproductive endocrinology and fertility. His professional memberships include the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and American Academy for Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M).
